Bettina Schroeder and Iris Colomb will be joining Douglas Benford, Chris Hill and Alan Newcombe for a Musical Action Event in Brentford on Thursday 5th December at 6.30. It’s a launch for Alan Newcombe’s fabulous new novel Gritstone, hosted by Hewsons Bookshop who write: This is guaranteed to be unlike any other book event you have been to before!
And it might be... As well as a reading from the book, there’ll be improvised music mixed with words and sentences read from the novel in the unique way Bettina and Iris do these things –you’ll know what I’m talking about if you saw or heard about our show at the Hundred Years Gallery. It’s free with a glass of wine and you can buy discounted copies of the novel.

This is it, the final SKRONK event! After a nearly glorious 8 years it's farewell. A gigantic thanks goes out to the amazing Rick Jensen, who runs these inspirational Tuesday nights with gusto, humour and his own talent as a musician. He made SKRONK a desirable home for musicians in London, the UK and improvisers further afield. We surely shall miss those nights!
Thanks also to the amazing New River Studios for hosting SKRONK.
