Bettina Schroeder is a London-based multidisciplinary artist. Her works include installation, painting, drawing, collage, sound art, music, video, poetry and live art.

Bettina was born in East Germany and grew up in the VW car town of Wolfsburg. She studied in Berlin and moved to the UK in 1982. She works from her London studio in Hoxton.

Bettina Schroeder exhibits in the UK and internationally including USA. She regularly performs sound art and at poetry and music events throughout Europe.

She is also a member of The Tunnel artist group, London Improvisers Orchestra, The Noisy Women Present, ‘Pataphysical Society’, duo Schroeder/Smith, and Rita Says and the Jerico Orchestra.
