The Tunnel are a group of artists, writers and performers based in London. The focus of the exhibition is the current state of humanity and our individual responses to this theme.

Bettina will be part of group exhibition, Viva La Vida, at the Frauen Museum in Bonn, Germany. Five artists from four different countries: Biggi Slongo (Switzerland), Mirko P. Slongo (Switzerland), Bettina Schroeder (UK), Daniela Floersheim (Germany) and Alfredo Martirena (Cuba).
Falls The Shadow is a group exhibition by The Tunnel drawing inspiration from the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury(1953) and the film adaptation by Francois Truffaut(1966).
The exhibition focuses on the dangers of modern technology and the loss of true knowledge in the contemporary age.
The full duration of the show is from 7th - 17th December
VIVA LA VIDA depicts life experiences from the perspective of a group of seasoned and established artists. Sometimes profound, sometimes mystical, but often humorous and satirical, the exhibition gives fresh insights into an international mix of cultural backgrounds. The artists present the potential of creating art as a way of life, which, as history shows, can profit from a significant boost in later years.

The Tunnel artists group exhibition THE CHILDREN OF MEN opens at the Hundred Years Gallery with performances by Loz Vegas, Monika Tobel and Bettina Schroeder accompanied by James A Smith. Inspired by the novel ‘The Children Of Men’ by P D. James(1992), the show focuses on the ideas of faith and the importance of hope in a desperate age. Show runs from 1st - 4th September

Bettina Schroeder and Jude Montague are showing and talking East German animation at the London Animation Club LIVE - Perils Of Perestroika IV - youtube live stream event. They look at the tradition of puppetry and explore the subversive videos produced in the 1980s.
The exhibition takes its title from Fyodor Dostoevsky's novella Notes From The Underground. The work is the third part of The Tunnel’s trilogy of exhibitions relating to the great pandemic. Performances by Grassy Noel and Ape, Christina Lovey, Joanne Roberts and many others.
